**The Professional Services Coordinator** supports organizational goals and clinical initiatives in the areas of risk management, regulatory review, compliance, and provider support with on-boarding/off-boarding. This position performs comprehensive review and resolution to achieve clinical service recovery objectives as well as support center and practice support in areas noted below.

## Responsibilities
**Risk Management**
* Provides support and serves as a resource in review of risk management practices/protocols and compliance initiatives
* Collaborates when needed with PLI partners to achieve company initiatives
* Assists with review of malpractice claims and coordinates professional liability insurance renewal and training plan for providers
* Prepares documentation and/or records requests as needed for attorney or patient transfer/dismissal incidents
* Reviews and processes incomplete treatment, referrals and patient dismissal letters
* Remediates patient concerns to achieve service recovery
* Delivers New Employee Orientation training for dentists related to risk management and liability insurance
* Assists with obtaining DDS state licensure
* Reviews new CDT codes and collaborates with necessary departments to get fee schedule descriptors/fees in place
**State Regulations/Compliance**
* Prepares calendar of dental board meeting dates for all states of operation
* Attends board meetings in person as directed and uses technology when available
* Reviews board meeting agendas and minutes and maintains documentation for PC doctor owner group
* Reports to the Chief Dental Officer (CDO) and Vice President of Clinical Development (VPCD) within 3 business days items of importance from the board meetings
* In partnership with other clinical leaders will serve as a resource for specific license/practice questions
* Informs CDO/VPCD of any dental board complaints on providers employed within professional corporations
* Logs/maintains recordkeeping in compliance tracking area of any complaints related to areas of responsibility
**Other Duties**
* Prepares quarterly risk management newsletter and additional communication as needed for clinics/doctors on changes and updates within areas of regulatory and risk management
* Participates in clinical team meetings
* Serves as a resource for coding (CDT and medical coding)
* Identifies and recommends changes in areas supporting process efficiency that will support the company's strategic objectives
* Will be expected to perform any and all related duties as assigned by manager
## Qualifications
* Four (4) or more years of relevant experience in the dental industry, health care or related field. Clinical experience preferred.
* Comprehension of dental scope of practice and impact on clinical operations
* Ability to perform statutory and regulatory reviews
* Proficiency with Microsoft office programs including Word, Powerpoint and Excel
* Ability to articulate in writing for correspondence, manuals and other communications
* Exceptional customer service skills including conflict management
* Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
* Lead project management initiatives
